F4 Describe not working via DB Link?

I connected as USERA, I describe a table owned by USERB that also has a Public DB Link defined.  When I describe the object from a USERA SQL Editor window I get the message USERA.OBJECT does not exist.  It should use the DB Link and display USERB.OBJECT.
