Bug in Toad 11, unable to save altered file, no asterisk and greyed save menu

This is just an FYI. I ran into an interested bug today. After opening a saved file and altering it I was unable to save it again. No asterisk appeared in the tab title and when I went to the file menu the "Save File" option was grayed out. I had been altering the file for an hour or so and was using Ctrl+s thinking I was saving the whole time.
Luckily, I happened to hover my mouse over the file and noticed the modified date was much earlier because Toad also did not prompt me to save on exit. I copied and pasted the code into another editor tab and saved it as a new file from there. This only affected the one tab. I've been using this version of Toad since its first release and have never observed this behavior before. It looks to be a pretty rare bug. I tried to recreate it but was unable to do so.
