Hi Angelo,
If you go to the File menu > Connections in Toad Data Modeler, you can select the tab "Toad for Oracle Aliases" which read the connections setup in Toad for Oracle. This will also be the same when you go through the process of Reverse Engineering in Toad Data Modeler. On the first dimension of the Reverse Engineering Wizard called "Select Aliases", you can select the tab for "Toad for Oracle Aliases" to use the catalogued connections you have in Toad for Oracle.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Amit

Subject: [toad] TOAD for Oracle and TOAD Data Modeler

Is there a way to sync/share the connections I have setup in TOAD for Oracle with TOAD Data Modeler?

I don't see an option to do that.

I would like to connect to some of the databases I have set up in TOAD for Oracle and perform a Reverse Engineering of the same in TOAD Data Modeler.

Appreciate any inputs.

Thanks.

Angelo
