Bert, The file is not read-only and I'm running as the owner of the data base object, so that's not a problem. The thing is, the Execute green arrow button is grayed out - I can't figure out how to un-gray it. I still have TOAD 11.0 on my pc and when I use that version, I don't have any problem. Thanks for your help, Mark ________________________________ From: Bert Scalzo <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 18, 2012 8:15 AM Subject: RE: [toad] Can't execute in TOAD 11.5 editor Some dumb questions. Is the file attributes marked as read only? Is the database object referenced not granted proper privs? I’m just looking for other external things that could trigger such behavior….. I have tried all the available "desktop" options (PL/SQL, SQL). I did not have any problem with this in 11.0.
