Unfortunately not, John . . . nothing there, it looks likethe attached. When I open a new editor window however (without opening an existing file), then the desktop panels are there. But as soon as I open a file, they disappear. ________________________________ From: John Dorlon <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 18, 2012 10:41 AM Subject: RE: [toad] Editor desktop panels [1 Attachment] [Attachment(s) from John Dorlon included below] Does the bottom part of your editor look anything like this (see attachment)? If so, hover your mouse over one of those icons at the bottom, then it will expand. When it does, click the pushpin icon in the top-right corner of the newly expanded area. That will keep it from hiding. In the menu bar I choose Editor, Desktop Panels, Configure Desktop Layout. This brings up a pop-up window called Desktop Panels. I check "Show" check boxes I want and choose "Bottom" in the Dock Site drop down box. When I click Ok, nothing changes in the Editor - the panels I choose do not show at the bottom.
