I see. I modified the connection check, to correct a different issue, just before the 11.5 GA.  I have put a new check in place for the next beta.

I think it is indeed this issue, but with a twist. I have a connection to the internet, but it is going to an authenticating proxy server. Which blocks Toad, because it does not authenticate. It was solved in the last beta and then not and then again......

I use Windows 7 64 bits, but that should be not the problem. At home, without that proxy, Toad closes down fast on the same laptop.

Is this the issue with Toad Feedback when you are disconnected from the internet?  We have an internet connected check in the program, which may not be validating correctly, in your case. I am testing here.

It should not make a difference, but can you tell me what windows OS are you running?

Sadly enough the change for making the closing of Toad faster has not reached 11.5 as was done with the previous beta.

Please start the next beta cycle with this change and add it to the next GA version.
