Lynne I reported this error a few weeks ago, and as John says, there is a fix coming. In the meantime, in case it helps, I found that Excel import does not have the same problem. If you are able to get your data into Excel, that should work. Roddy From: Lynne Lieberman <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Date: 05/25/2012 01:22 PM Subject: [toad] Bug in data import Sent by: [email protected] I am using Toad for Oracle Xpert v 11.5.0.56 I tried to import a csv file where the last column is varchar2(2000), nullable, and many rows have nulls. The file has a header row & the first data row has null in that last column. The import wizard insisted on filling in the null field with data from the previous row. In the case of the first row, it put the name of the column. I could not find anything in the options that would stop it from happening. Ultimately, I had to use a different tool.
