bad number OCI death spiral? [3 Attachments]

Hi John,

Thanks for looking into this.  I have no restrictions on the amount of minus signs, plus signs, commas and periods I can plug into a cell.

When I switch over the Data tab I can go nuts typing such things.

[cid:[email protected]]

This results in the aforementioned OCI error

[cid:[email protected]]

On an insert action it functions fine.  I click OK and fix the boo boo.  However on an update action its goes into the OCI death spiral leaving nothing to do but click okay a dozen times and restart the application.
