RE: Long connection time with 11.5

The profiler queries and general function of that feature has been improved significantly for 11.6. In 11.5 you can cleanup old profiler runs. In the profiler analysis window or from the Editor select all runs you are uninterested in and remove them. If you want to perform a clean wipe of profiler data click the dropdown arrow beside the profiler button on the main Toad toolbar. Select "Remove profiler." Toad will guide you through setup of it the next time you enable profiling if it is uninstalled. This will affect all users of the DB if the profiler is installed in the TOAD schema using public synonyms.

Hi all,

I recently installed TOAD 11.5 and now the connection time is very long 
(near 2 minutes in development db).  Using SQL Tracker, I can see that 
it is executing lots (thousands) of this statement (with differents 
runid et unit_number):

SELECT line#, total_time, total_occur, min_time, max_time, text FROM
plsql_profiler_data WHERE runid = 2899 AND unit_number = 9;

The TOAD.PLSQL_PROFILER_DATA table has more than 429000 rows.  I believe 
the above statement is executed that much times.  Do I have to truncate 
that table or can I inactivate something ?
