Yes, every release counts. Toad 11.5 will not do an auto-update from version 9.6. Since we officially support 2 versions back, 11.5 will only auto-update back to Toad 10.6. If you want to upgrade from earlier versions, Install 11.5 then go to Utilities menu > Copy user settings and choose which version you want to copy from there.

Thanks,
Brad

Subject: [toad] Definition of a version

Hello,

I see in the 11.5 release notes it says:

"Toad now automatically copies user files from the previous version when upgrading to a new version (if the new version is within two releases of the previous version)."

Can you tell me if every release counts, or only major versions? For example, is 9.6 to 11.5 within two versions?

Thank you!
