Subject: [toad] Toad Location of the Week: Cork, Ireland

Since I am temporarily working out of the Quest Offices in Cork, I thought it would be a great opportunity to highlight Cork as the Toad Location of the Week. Cork is the Republic of Ireland's second City and home to the Quest EMEA Offices. An enthusiastic multilingual team, spreads the word about Toad and Quest's other products, from our City Gate offices on the outskirts of the city.

The greater Cork area has a population of around 518,000. Cork City anchors Cork Harbor, one of the largest natural harbors in the world. Corkonians are known for their distinctive Cork accent (to which the Cary Toad team can attest :)). They are also sports mad, and Corkonians are rabidly proud of the local hurling, Gaelic football, rugby and soccer teams. Cork is known as 'The Rebel County' and the fiercely independent Corkonians are happy to live up to that reputation. Cork is an excellent area to live ,work in or visit. In recent years the area has gained a merited reputation as the culinary capital of Ireland, and is home to some of Ireland's finest restaurants.

For the techies among us, George Boole, the father of Symbolic Logic, was Mathematics lecturer at University College Cork (then Queen's College).
