Sorting a data grid when I have alrady returned all the rows

I thought there was an option/feature that would prevent the query from being executed again if I want to sort a column by clicking a column name in the data grid when I had already retrieved all of the rows. At the moment it seems to execute the query again which I'd like to avoid.

Is/was there an option for it?

Can it also override if I have returned the data using an ORDER BY (making the data grid independent - to some degree - from my query). I'd like to be able to click on the column header to change the ORDER BY but if I used one in my query I can't do that.

This is in the data grid in the SQL Editor.
