Forget the second question, I found the answer (CTRL + G) but I would really hope that the answer to the first question is that such an option exists and I simply need to find/identify where it is to set!

Is there an option I can set that after compiling the code the cursor returns to the last position it was in?

Subject: [toad] Compiling from editor question - return to specific line number (Toad 11.5)

[cid:[email protected]]
When you compile code from the editor window the cursor scrolls through all of the code and ends up at the bottom of the code.

For very short scripts this is fine, but when your code is thousands of lines long and you make a change in the middle, compile and find your cursor at the bottom it becomes tedious to try and recall where in the code you were last.

Is there an option I can set that after compiling the code the cursor returns to the last position it was in?

Is there an option/shortcut to bring up an ability to enter a line number to go directly to?
