This has been resolved for Toad 12. It's currently fixed in the beta.

Hi

I like to use advanced code templates a lot for building my debugging messages.  In the last couple of versions of Toad it has started putting a carriage return (or line feed) after the template every time I use it.

I don't know if this is a bug or deliberate design, but it's driving me mad!
