Hey Rumpi, Are you saying the open button isn't in your editor toolbar? If so, you may need to restore your toolbar defaults. If you do see the button, but nothing happens when you click it, there may be something in your firewall blocking the connection. What exactly are you seeing? -John From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rumpi Gravenstein Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2013 6:01 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [toad] 11.6 Toad Repository Very neat feature ... however ... the open button doesn't show up for me. Truth be told I was able to open one file but then no other. What to do? First, Brad knows I use his database accounts all the time and he's fine with that. Next, I've had a bit too much coffee to draw circles freehand. Has anyone noticed the Public Toad Repository we introduced with Toad 11.6? It is currently under its own special toolbar button on the Editor: [cid:[email protected]] If you haven't seen it yet, give it a look when you get time. You'll need to create a secure sign-on the first time in. The Repository uses an Amazon RDS database and lets you upload scripts for public consumption, download scripts from other users, rate them, comment on them and so forth. We think it has potential but it has seen very limited use so far. You guys are the ultimate gut-check when it comes to continuing to pursue technologies we think are valuable. So we don't want to keep skipping down the garden path if it doesn't have high value. In Toad 12, due to be released this spring, the Repository will be able to be installed locally, so your company can have their own private share. Also, the File Open/Save dialog will have integrated access to either local or Repository files, so there aren't separate buttons. [cid:[email protected]] Mark -- Rumpi Gravenstein
