Why "Bad system call" ???????

Hi,

Just after the Cygwin shell started up, I typed this into it:

export CYGWIN=server
/usr/bin/postmaster -D /var/postgresql/data

And I got:

Bad system call


Any idea what's going on?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
