that's the problem. you have to deinstall cygipc.

do you know that there's an official cygwin postgres-8.0.0cvs package?
with build script, docs and and patches.

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
    (send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to [email protected])
