IF this is a real UUID (&nbsp;RFC 4122, ISO/IEC 9834-8:2005 )&nbsp;;&nbsp;
THEN you can use the built in&nbsp; "UUID Type"&nbsp;&nbsp;https://www.postgresql.org/docs/11/datatype-uuid.html
