VivaReal, a growing online Real State advertising agency in Brazil is
hiring:

*DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR*

Location: *SAO PAULO*, SP, *BRAZIL*

*Roles and Responsibilities:*

* Work closely with other members of the engineering team, and have the
ability to understand technical requirements for their products to derive a
technical solution and convert the same into scalable products.
* Build and support highly available and scalable Database system.
* Willing to manage VivaReal Infrastructure (Amazon AWS) and Database.
* Setting Database backup, replication, Sharding, performance tuning, DB
optimization and capacity planning is must.
* Managing database schema changes and migration.
* Creating automation in a distributed database environment.
* Self-motivate to work in fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
* Create a positive impact on the company’s growth and display a proactive
attitude towards meeting the aggressive targets with optimistic solutions
* Ability to estimate  technical tasks and feasibility.
* Flexible and willing to learn latest technologies and business required
changes and work in flexi hours.
* This position will be reporting directly to the engineering managers or
tech leads.

*Required Knowledge*

* Should have 3 to 9 years of experience in fast and dynamic changing
environment, start-up experience is more preferred.
* Very strong knowledge Database management MySQL and PostgresSQL.
* Should have experience in Apache Solr and NoSQL (MongoDB or Cassandra).
* Hands on experience in designing and managing Amazon Cloud infrastructure
is must.
* Experience in Memcache, Varnish and any other cache system.
* Experience in Zero downtime backup model, log analysing, traffic
monitoring, alert system and server monitoring etc...

Language requirements:

* Fluent English is required.
* Portuguese and/or Spanish are welcome.

Nice to have:

* Gradle, Git, Jenkins and JIRA
