WANTED: DBA with advanced Postgresql knowledge - Philadelphia - 3 to 6 month contract

XSELL RESOURCES IS HIRING a DBA with advanced knowledge in Postgresql.  This is a 3-6 month contract located in Center City, Philadelphia. The client is going through an implementation and finds themselves light on Postgresql experience.  Please call me OR send your contract rate and resume to [email protected].

Duties include, but are not limited to supporting our databases and data in a distributed multi-application environment.   Requirements Knowledge of  SQL Server 2008 / 2012 / 2014 engine, SSRS, SSAS or similar relational database system: security; backup and recovery capabilities; system and database performance management; data architecture and capacity planning; disaster recovery planning and testing required Ability to move data around (one or more of: SSIS, xcopy, PowerShell or similar). Strong performance tuning skills and techniques. Experience turning a business requirements into appropriate physical and logical data architecture and supporting processes. Deep familiarity with Postgresql. Experience with databases like SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB a plus. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Bachelor's degree preferably in a technology field required ; equivalent experience may be considered.

My client is in the Investment/Financial vertical and has not provided an approximate rate.
