Postgres Engineer

FINRA in Rockville, MD is hiring for a Sr. Postgres Engineer to work on-site. This is a long term contract. FINRA is the leader in the financial regulatory market which includes partnerships with AWS, Puppet, Pentaho, and Hadoop.

Developer that also has DBA responsibilities. Similar to the "DevOps" model for Ops and Development. The right person should have +/- 10 years of experience.
DAY to DAY:

  *   This would include maintenance of the PostGreSQL/AWS RDS (10% of the time)
     *   Back Ups
     *   Updates
     *   Monitoring
     *   Utilization
     *   Performance Tuning
     *   Data Synch
  *   The remaining 90% of the time is Development and Architecture of ECR around RCM.
     *   Data Development
     *   Data Modeling
     *   Heavy hands on SQL code
     *   Business Intelligence
        *   Reporting
        *   Visualization and Dashboards
        *   querying data
        *   linking Data
