Business rationale for this role:
This product provides the path to migrate from Oracle and reduce the
associated licensing costs.
This allows the client clear path of migration from Oracle Dbaas to
PostgreSQL on Premises/Cloud.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
We're looking for someone with the following skills:

=E2=80=A2 Deep experience and knowledge as a PostgreSQL Engineer or DBA.
=E2=80=A2 Experience engineering and managing Oracle databases.
=E2=80=A2 Coding experience of stored objects using PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL.
=E2=80=A2 Understanding of PostgreSQL 11 new features.
=E2=80=A2 Well versed in High Availability and Disaster Recovery requiremen=
ts and
solutions.
=E2=80=A2 Experience with database migrations (ideally from Oracle to Postg=
res).
=E2=80=A2 Extensive experience with Linux/Unix based systems.
=E2=80=A2 Fluency in Linux/Unix shell scripting.
=E2=80=A2 Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Docker.
=E2=80=A2 Knowledge of cloud infrastructures such as Azure.
=E2=80=A2 Experience with reusable frameworks and tools like Ansible, Jira =
and
GitHub.
