Hi,
I use Rekall 2.2beta4 on SuSE 9.1 with Python 2.3.3. My problem is that when
I use certain modules (which work fine in Python outside of Rekall), every
call to that module returns an TypeError.
It is a module that is basically a wrapper for a C function. The wrapper is
created with sip 4.0. This version of SIP is required by the module. I tried
to use the SIP version shipped with SuSE 9.1, but this does not work.
The call that causes the TypeError is:
tageditor.createTagEditor("test.mp3")
The details pane shows this information:
!Inline, line 3
Traceback (most recent call last):
File ":!Inline:UnnamedForm/KBButton_1:eventFunc", line 3, in eventFunc
File "/home/dirk/tmp/RekallCDDatabase/recalltest.rkl:recalltest:TrackSync",
line 12, in getTracksFromFilesystem
As I am not able to get the debugger to work and as I have no clue what the
problem might be, I would be very grateful if somebody could give me a hint
why this happens and what could be done about it.
Thanks,
Dirk
