Tobi, this is partially done: https://github.com/ssinyagin/perl-rrd-tweak/blob/master/lib/RRD/Tweak.pm#L1455 If the pdp-per-row changes, or a new RRA is added, I try to preserve and derive as much data as possible. Having this, changing the step is doable... ________________________________ From: Tobias Oetiker <[email protected]> To: Peter Stamfest <[email protected]> Cc: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 25, 2014 11:04 AM Subject: Re: [rrd-developers] Introducing: rrd modify Today Peter Stamfest wrote: > Am 2014-02-25 09:24, schrieb Tobias Oetiker: > > Hi Peter, > > > > Today Peter Stamfest wrote: > > > >> Hi List, Hi Tobi, > >> > >> I have implemented a "rrd modify" command. If this is the > case, I'll do the rebasing. sure ... especially since it just adds new functionality and comes with documentation ... now, if you add the ability to even change the step and existing RRAs while preserving the data I bet people will start traveling to AT to worship you :-) cheers tobi > peter > > > > > cheers > > tobi > > > >> peter > >> > >> > > > -- Tobi Oetiker, OETIKER+PARTNER AG, Aarweg 15 CH-4600 Olten, Switzerland http://it.oetiker.ch [email protected] ++41 62 775 9902 / sb: -9900 _______________________________________________ rrd-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.oetiker.ch/cgi-bin/listinfo/rrd-developers _______________________________________________ rrd-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.oetiker.ch/cgi-bin/listinfo/rrd-developers
