Upgraded my version of rrd tools and now find rrd files work cross platform

Hi,

I recently upgrade the version of rrd tools on my graphing perl script to
1.5.1 and changed my perl to be 64 bit. I am finding miraculously that the
files I am creating on an out of date rrdtools running 32 bit work fine
with the 64 bit perl.

Has there been an update to support this? Am I safe to continue using the
graphs from files made on a different architecture?
