AIX and rrdtool 1.7.0

Hello,

i want to compile rrdtool on an AIX Server. I installed the prerquite
packages from
the aix Linux Toolbox. After the compile of rrdtool, i got this message:
root@(ux-ap-00041) bin # ./rrdtool

fundamental type 'gchar' (as 'gchar')

where is the mistake?
