Automatically daily backup a database

Hi!

It is not possible to let SAP DB backup itself daily, isn't it?

I have to run
dbmcli -d DBNAME -uUTL -u admin,pwd backup_start DATA0815 MIGRATION
manually or triggered by an external programm, right?

Another question:
Do I have to state "MIGRATION" or is it a legacy parameter from 7.3?
The PDFs (e.g. sichwiederheng.pdf) still tell to do so,
but I think I have read somewhere that from 7.4 on the backups are 
always consistent by themselves.
