I only have problems that i couldn't solve. I'm using Access from Office
XP SP2 and no matter which table i link into my Database, i cannot view
the data. If i don't link the table but if i import them, i get text
columns instead if integer etc.
I don't really need Access, but i'd like to use it to watch, edit and
export data to other formats.

Well, Access Forms are sometimes simple to create. Any other approach
that i can imagine means more work - much more work.
