again: urgent migration 7.3 to 7.4: database does't comes to warm state

once again my question, this time with compressed attachment...

I'm running a sapdb 7.3 on WinNt 4.0 system. At the moment I'm doing a
migration from 7.3.0.33 to 7.4.0.25 with a procuctive database. After
installing the 7.4 version I executed the additional steps recommended in
the docs. The last commands
running successfully were
...
14. util_execute migrate database
15. util_release
16. db_offline

when trying '17. db_online' an error occurs: sql_error connection broken...

In the meanwhile I repeated the following steps (I'm afraid that I should't
have done so):
1. db_drop withoutfiles
2. quit
3. ...depend<73>/pgm/dbmcli -s db_create ...
4. db_drop WITHOUTFILES
5. ...depend<74>/pgm/dbmcli -s db_create ...
6. dbmcli -d ... -u ...
results in: cserver not found

What shall I do now??
