Outer join. The (+) represents the side of a join that is outer joined in old-style (pre SQL-92 IIRC) join syntax. If you're not familiar with outer joins there are plenty of SQL resources on the web that will explain them. Google is your friend. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Wilson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, 21 August 2003 8:48 a.m. To: Sapdb General List (E-mail) Subject: (+) in DBPROCS can anyone tell me what exactly the (+) syntax does in a dbproc? thanks, Kevin "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -Benjamin Franklin, 1759 _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [email protected] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
