This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_001C_01C37DB8.BAF811E0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I have seen couple of messages on this subject, but no real conclusive answers. =20 I have attempted installing SAPdb on Red Hat 9. I tried both the tar distribution and the rpms. All install fine, but the database dies with a kernel error. =20 Is there a fix to get the database up and running on Red Hat 9 and if so, what are the steps? =20 ---------------------------------------------------- Demetrios Sapounas, PhD Solutions Architect Eastport Analytics Phone: 703.351.5273 Email: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------- =20 ------=_NextPart_000_001C_01C37DB8.BAF811E0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <TITLE>Message</TITLE> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2800.1226" name=3DGENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><SPAN class=3D812094211-18092003>I have = seen couple=20 of messages on this subject, but no real conclusive = answers.</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><SPAN=20 class=3D812094211-18092003></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><SPAN class=3D812094211-18092003>I have = attempted=20 installing SAPdb on Red Hat 9.
