I have seen couple of messages on this subject, but no real conclusive
answers.

I have attempted installing SAPdb on Red Hat 9. I tried both the tar
distribution and the rpms. All install fine, but the database dies with
a kernel error.

Is there a fix to get the database up and running on Red Hat 9 and if
so, what are the steps?
