RE: drop view

This is a feature of the database kernel, not of SQL Studio.

Since - by its nature - the kernel can't be very interactive about such issues , 
it does not ask for confirmation. 
But you can make the drop fail if there are depending objects 
by giving the RESTRICT option in the drop view statement 
(see the above mentioned document).
