What Perl version are you using? It definitely won't work with Perl 5.8. 
The behaviour looks same as if you call 'imf.pl' without any arguments,
so it seems as if the command line arguments get lost when being
passed between the scripts. The only easy explanation for this
seems to be the Perl version. If that isn't the case, I'll
have to point you to a few lines in the scripts where print
statements might be helpful to detect where the information gets lost.
