There is a sapdb-source-7.4.*.* at ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapdb/7.4/ for every binary release. I agree that it would be nicer to have the complete history in CVS, branches and all. The Perforce => cvs script has some support for branches, but it would need more work to make it fool proof. And because of the number of files involved, testing the scripts with the real data is rather time consuming.
