Some sapdb features question

I read that store functions will be available in sapdb vercion 7.4.4.

I am interesting in this features ( store functions and functions based
indexes ), when is planing to be released this version ?

I like have in sapdb some function for format date columns, function like
oracle to_date.
Example formatdate( field1, 'dd/mm')  or formatdate( field1, 'mm/yyyy')
formatdate( field1, 'dd/mm/yyyy') .
