Hi I got it.. Thank You it is Fine upto the ruby dbi..
but it is throwing the exception in the rails application as 
S1000 (0) [unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unable to connect to data source

what is the problem with these? i followed the same site..
but it is not connecting..
