FreeTDS for SQL Server 2005

Hello 

I am using FreeTDS to access Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database. At 
present I has FreeTDS 0.82 installed on my system.

In my freetds.conf file I am using tds version = 8.0

If I upgrade my database to SQL Server 2005, what FreeTDS version I should 
use?

I read about FreeTDS version 9, but in the documentation I can't find any 
reference to it
