Hi,

thanks for your reply. As I'm not very in the freetds thing (my provider
did the installion for me):

- I find a directory /usr/src/freetds-0.82 (so I think this will be the
version)
- how can I create such a tdsdump (maybe even without calling my
provider)?

Please post a TDSDUMP log of your php5 session.  That will show the
version of FreeTDS you're using and details of PHP's interaction with
the
library.  Without that information, it's impossible to know where the
trouble is.  (The log might not be enough information either, but it's a
start.)
