FreeTDS and nvarchar(MAX) in MSSQL-2005

Hi,
I am using FreeTDS version 0.82 to connect to MSSQL-2005 server. I am
able to read the information from database except for the following
case below.

If I have a column type 'nvarchar(MAX), and try to read this value
FreeTDS reports the following error -


"[FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unicode data in
a Unicode-only collation or ntext data cannot be sent to clients using
DB-Library (such as ISQL) or ODBC version 3.7 or earlier. SQLState=42000
ErrorCode=4004]"

Any clues on this? I am attaching the FreeTDS configuration file along
with this email.  On the similar note does FreeTDS 0.82 support
reading of nchar, nvarchar, ntext fields
from MSSQL 2005/08 server?
