Thanks for the reply. I know it is supported. I want to ask you how you went about compiling and configuring Freetds on HP-UX IA-64. I am struggling to compile and make it work on HP-UX 11.23 IA-64 machine.

When I execute the isql command, the connection happens as i can see from SQL server logs but isql command does not give me a SQL prompt. It simply "hangs".

Please share with me a document if possible how to configure Freetds with unixODBC for HP-UX IA-64 11.23 machine. I am sure it would help me and many others.

        The freetds is support SQL Server 2005, I used it connect the freetds version is 0.82
