configure looks for file "config.rpath", but it is not within stable "freetds-0.82" ?
Within snapshot (eg. "freetds-0.83.dev.20090725") I have this file, maybe You should test a snapshot-version.

How did you configured FreeTDS? Was there any error or warnings during
"configure" run? DId make finished successfully?
