enforce security

Hi,
I make some tests on freetds regarding my issues:

1. freetds compiled without tls support (--with-tdsver=8.0 
-enable-msdblib ) :
  -  is able to connect to sql server 2000 & 2008 without force 
encryption on server

2. freetds compiled with tls (--with-tdsver=8.0 -enable-msdblib  
--with-gnutls):
 - is able to connect sql server 2008 with force encryption on server 
and without  force encryption
 - is not able to connect to sql server 2000sp4 ( 3Msg 20003, Level 6, 
State -1, Server OpenClient, Line -1 Adaptive Server connection timed 
out) (with/without enforce security)

I tested version 0.82 and newest  v0.83.dev.20090904
Server is running on win 2k3 x64
Native client library (on  windows machines) works correctly in all cases.


I need make a connection to sql 2000 / 2008 with force encryption by 
server ..
What I need to do ? Is any option ?
