For anybody interesting I attach some stripped down compressed log he
sent to me. As you can say Oracle issue a SQLColumns getting columns
informations. As detected some days ago our drivers returned wrong
data_type using SQLColumns cause it does not append version information
calling sp_columns. I already fixed both 0.82 branch and CVS HEAD but I
think to backport entire patch (with fix for Sybase db) and test.

As you can see Oracle correctly set odbc version to 3.
