I actually started to do that yesterday, and was dismayed when I went  
to the Apple Developer website and saw that they want you to pay $99/ 
year to register as a Developer before you can download, but now I  
notice that if I scroll down a little farther there's a place that  
still lets me register for free. Sneaky. And THEN you have to hunt  
around for the non-Snow-Leopard release <grumble>.

Anyway, thanks, that got the install working, I seem to be back on  
track.
