I do believe that this indicates a successful telnet connection via port 1433. Is that correct. If so, what do I need to do next to get freetds talking to this server? Thanks for you assistance.

[root@library freetds-0.82]# telnet 159.121.122.6 1433
Trying 159.121.122.6...
Connected to 159.121.122.6 (159.121.122.6).
Escape character is '^]'.
