You may need CPPFLAGS and not necessarily just CFLAGS.  Also, you're using:

> LDFLAGS=-L/opt/csw/lib CFLAGS=-I/opt/csw/include \

that should probably be --with-unixodbc=/opt/csw.

This late in the game, if you're still having problems you should
share which compiler you're using, what version, etc.
