Yeah, a child could understand it now.  Do we know any children, though?  

For example, I'm having a little trouble with the COLMETADATA flags on page
77.  I think it has some bitfield unions, but I'm not sure from
reading the spec who to interpret flags of 0x0a.  

7.3 will be a significant undertaking.
