Hristo, I am in no way an official FreeTDS maintainer or someone that can answer your question, but I am curious. What does commercial support mean to VMWare? I spend most of my time in the Ruby and/or Rails community. In my circles when a large company wants to use or base their business on some aspect of open source software, they hire a developer to do nothing but join and contribute to said project. Is this along the lines of what your asking? - Ken On Jul 21, 2011, at 8:44 AM, Hristo Hristov wrote: > Hi, > > Nobody interested in providing commercial support to VMware? > > Kind regards, > Hristo > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] [mailto:freetds- >> [email protected]] On Behalf Of Hristo Hristov >> Sent: Monday, July 18, 2011 11:05 AM >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: [freetds] FreeTDS commercial support >> >> Hi, >> >> I tried to reach Brian Bruns, but got no response to my mails so I'm >> writing to the mail list. >> >> We want to know what the options are for commercial support for the >> FreeTDS driver on Linux. >> >> I also saw on the web site that the project is interested in buying >> some >> VMware software, so we are looking at the procedure of donating. >> Can somebody provide information what software the project needs? >> >> Thanks, >> Hristo >> >> -- >> Hristo Hristov >> Member of Technical Staff >> [email protected] >> 16 A, G.M.
