Re: location of config parameter?

Hello,

I am using version 5.0 for linux.

I try to configure version 7.0, 
./configure --prefix=/DEV_testLoic/freetds-0.91 --enable-sybase-compat --with-tdsver=7.0

but when I start my apache I get an error:

[Fri Dec 16 10:55:15 2011] [error] (20014)Internal error: DBD: Can't connect to freetds:

-->I see on http://www.freetds.org/userguide/choosingtdsprotocol.htm
Version 7.0 is for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0

I try also version 4.2: same error
dbutil.c:84:msgno 103: "The identifier that starts with '@ID_SERVICEPROVIDER_FONCTIONNE' is too long. Maximum length is 30.

What version of TDS are you using?  My TDS 7.0 connection lets me use
long parameter names in stored procedures.  I changed the parameter
in src/dblib/unittests/rpc.c  from "@c" to
"@c_this_name_is_way_more_than_thirty_characters_charlie", and the
program still works.
