freetds.conf location

I am using a freebsd server and "I think" I have freetds installed. There
is a /usr/local/etc/freetds directory and there is a file in there
interfaces.dist. I am looking for the freetds.conf file and there is only
only one at /usr/ports/databases/freetds/work/freetds-0.64/freetds.conf.

Is this location correct?

Is freetds installed correctly?
